Projects
The organisation has, each year, continued to advance important projects that help support intergenerational learning and the transfer of cultural and practical knowledge. Some of the current projects are described below.
Kokoberrin Dingo Project
The White Dingo is a sacred clan ancestral being, intimately connected to the families within the clan and guiding cultural responsibilities and relationships. The Project continues to respectfully honour and carefully document the enduring importance of Kedew in country, recognising it as a living ancestor and a vital presence in community life.
Language revival and maintenance. Over the last 30 years the organisation, together with its Elders, have carefully documented our language and continue to teach, speak and share it across generations. Future projects are designed to ensure the language’s survivance and continued thriving as an unbroken practice that endures into the future.
Kokoberrin Language Project
Since the beginning Elders and families have held intricate knowledge of country and its authority. From the inception of the organisation we have been carefully documenting country, its stories and its enduring connection with our people.
